There is something rather lovely about gathering together to make something beautiful. From spring wreath making and flower crown workshops to summer pick-your-own bouquet days, festive Christmas wreaths and portfolio days for budding florists, each workshop at Lopmint & Purdy is thoughtfully designed around the changing seasons and the joy of working with flowers.
Held in my own little corner of Dorset and inspired by country coastal living, these relaxed floral experiences invite you to slow down, learn new skills and leave with happy memories and something wonderfully ‘purdy’ to take home.
In addition to the scheduled dates, all workshops are available to book as a private party event on a date of your choice

I will be hosting a workshop right here at Lopmint & Purdy’s studio, where you’ll learn how to craft your very own beautiful Easter-inspired wreath using an array of fresh, locally grown, seasonal foliage, along with a a basket-full of beautiful Easter-inspired details to make your design truly unique.

Join me for a Pick Your Own Bouquet Workshop and make the most of the season's final blooms. Wander through the 'Lopmint', hand-picking your favourite flowers & learn how to condition them. Create a beautiful hand-tied bouquet using the professional spiral technique. Enjoy cake and bubbly (plus tea and coffee for drivers) in a relaxed, friendly setting here at the studio, and leave with a gorgeous bouquet, new floristry skills, and the confidence to recreate your own arrangements at home.

PORTFOLIO DAYS
Are you currently studying to be a florist? Do you feel like the designs you are making on your course do not accurately reflect your floral design or maybe they don't use seasonal flowers that you would prefer? I certainly felt that way.
When you are starting out it is expensive sourcing flowers and difficult to create images of your expertise.
If there is enough interest, I am thinking of arranging a Portfolio Day for aspiring & student florists.
Come and visit me here at the Lopmint for the day. Pick your own seasonal flowers and create as many of your own floral designs as you wish. A photographer will be on site, using the Lopmint, garden and studio space as a backdrop, create images for your website and portfolio to get you started.

I will be Hosting a series of workshops right here at Lopmint & Purdy's studio, You'll learn how to craft your very own festive wreath using an array of fresh, Locally Grown, seasonal foliage with a Large Choice Of Premium Accessories
We may well be in the middle of the summer just now, but these workshops get booked up very quickly.
Held on Tuesdays and Saturdays from mid November to mid December, be sure to book your's soon
As usual, private parties can be booked for a preferred date of choice
