FRESH FLOWERS CARE GUIDE
Caring for Your Lopmint Grown Flowers
Thank you so much for choosing my beautiful Lopmint grown flowers.
One of the things I love most about seasonal British flowers is their natural beauty, fragrance and character. Unlike flowers that have travelled thousands of miles, my blooms are freshly picked, full of personality and grown in harmony with the seasons. With a little care, you'll enjoy them for as long as possible.
Getting the Best Vase Life
When your flowers arrive:
-
Unwrap them as soon as possible.
-
Fill a clean vase with fresh, cool water.
-
Trim around 1to2cm from the bottom of each stem at an angle before arranging them in your vase.
-
Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
-
Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, fireplaces and other heat sources.
-
Avoid placing them near fruit bowls, as ripening fruit releases gases that can shorten the life of your flowers.
-
Top up the water daily and replace it completely every 2–3 days, giving the stems a fresh trim each time.
As with all naturally grown flowers, each variety has its own lifespan. Some blooms will naturally fade before others, while others will continue to open and develop over several days. This is all part of the charm of seasonal fresh flowers.
A Little Note About Freshness
I carefully condition and inspect every bouquet & or arrangement before they leave me and I want you to be absolutely delighted with your flowers.
If you have any concerns about the quality or freshness of your flowers, please get in touch within 24 hours of collection or delivery.
To help me assess the situation, I'll need:
-
Clear photographs of the flowers.
-
A photograph showing where the flowers have been kept since delivery (including their surroundings and vase).
-
A brief description of the issue you've noticed.
I'll always review every enquiry fairly and do my very best to help.
Replacement Flowers
Please note that any replacement flowers will only be considered where the care advice above has been followed.
As flowers are natural products, their vase life can be significantly affected by their environment and how they are cared for after delivery.
If you've got any questions about caring for your flowers, I'd be delighted to help. I want you to enjoy every stem for as long as possible, and with a little care, your flowers will reward you with the very best vase life they can offer.
