I am so lucky to have my own space at home to host these workshops. Gone are the days of booking a venue, placing a sizable deposit, packing and unpacking the car, hours of set up & put downs & clearing up. With dedicated time slots or rigid fixed dates it meant that I had little room to book in alternatives. Hosting the workshops at the studio means my diary, within reason, has a bigger degree of flexibility; So if you would like to arrange your own private group booking on an alternative date or time, then please get in touch by completing a Book a Christmas Wreath Workshop form and tick Private Workshop Enquiry, and I will see what I can juggle around & do for you

Wreath Workshop?
Unlimited access to foliage of all types
As my workshops are on site I don't have to create little bundles of foliage packs for my guests. You won't be limited to using the foliage you've given like other workshops booked at venues. Here at Lopmint & Purdy, you will have access to as much fresh natural foliage as you would like so that you won't be leaving the session with a sparce stingy looking wreath but one that is full and luxurious
Grown On Dorset Plantations
As always, I strive to use as many materials and supplies home grown here from our lovely county. Many materials are foraged from ground fall found around my local village or from Wareham Forrest. My fir comes from a dedicated Family Led Business: Trinity Street Trees. They grow all their trees on local Dorset Plantations ensuring that all my foliage is Environmentally Friendly and as freshly cut as possible. You can check out their story here
Large Choice of Accessories
Unlike other venue sited workshops where room is very limited, the Lopmint & Purdy studio will be ram packed full of accessories in readiness for making up my own premium wreath orders; and you will have access to all of this.
Fruits of every kind, sliced or whole, bells, different cones & feathers and many different Lopmint grown floral elements that have been patiently drying out at the studio over the last few months, will ensure that you have plenty to choose from. Not to mention the very varied and full collection of ribbons that I have collected over the years. Your wreath will definitely be a 'one of a kind' as you'll be hard pressed to make a similar wreath to anybody else in the group
Intimate Groups for More Personalised One to One Guidance
Unlike other workshops that often cater for larger groups, whilst my workshops are limited to 6 to 8 people at full capacity, it does mean that I can dedicate most of my time with you all, one on one, for a far more individual teaching experience
Creativity & Design Freedom
I know what it is like to attend a workshop where room for your own individual creativity is limited. Most other workshops stick to the tried & tested formula of the traditional wreath look & tends to be the only design option that is taught. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the traditional wreath look; & it still remains the most popular choice, I know that some of my guests prefer a more modern, natural, rustic, asymmetrical wreath & I am always delighted to give you this design freedom & help you to create what you desire
My guests are welcome, in fact encouraged, to send in photos of wreath designs they would love to make; & I then tailor my guest's workbook with the personalised design in mind
Private Party Vibe!
Group bookings provide a lovely way of creating a private party vibe. You may wish to get all your fave ladies; together for a pre-seasonal catch up before the festive 'hectivities' begin. Unlike venue sited workshops, each of my workshops are small & intimate without any other site visitors encroaching in on the proceedings. Whilst refreshments are provided you may wish to bring further drinks and snacks to the workshop party and you are more than welcome to do so
All The Time You Need
Generally a Christmas Wreath Workshop tends to take about 2 to 2 and a half hours to complete but this is to be taken as a guide just so that anyone who needs to be 'somewhere' afterwards has a rough idea of how long it will take. However, unlike site workshops that have to stick to rigid timings, if you do need more time to make your wreath you won't have to rush it. I certainly won't be chucking you out when the 2 hours are over! I have had groups that have still been with me 3.5 hours later!
Late Bookings Accepted
As a single mum (& as a florist to boot with one of the busiest seasons of the year) I know how hectic it is around this time of year. Often Christmas Activities have to be booked well in advance, even before the sunflowers have faded and well before you can confirm what your diary will be looking like. Whilst many of my official dates on Tuesday evenings & Saturday mornings do get booked up quickly, if you do find yourself in December already and have yet to book a spot, please do get in touch. The studio will be set up anyway; so unlike other site workshops that have limited slots to offer, I can open up some ad hoc last minute workshops whenever necessary

Fear Not! I will also be hosting my Wreath Bar every Saturday afternoon between
28 November 2026 to 12th December 2026
From 3.00pm to 4.30pm.
Ready made wreath bases are prepared and all you need to do is
pick your preferred ribbon & accessories. Your wreath will be made up then and there
Booking a time slot for your visit to the studio is needed for my Wreath Bars, but
all the information you will need will be published here later on in the year
